I'm with you there. That's a fantastic drive!

We get over to Mazama and Winthrop a lot and the North Cascades Hwy (20) is unbelievable after it has been cleared of the gravel and sand when it opens. We do Hwy 2 through Winthrop when the gates close for the winter on Hwy 20.

One of the best drives I have ever had was in my 87 cab early in the morning on the North Cascades Hwy in May... wow, what a drive! I literally had the whole road to myself from Diablo to Early Winters. "Porsche- there is no substitute."

Some sucker will end up buying that viper on the used market and wonder why his engine grenades a week later.

Have you checked the Pickney Flange? The Fenointner Valve? Blinker Fluid?

One merely wonders...

Just got back yesterday from a 7 hour drive. All was perfect. In fact, I hit a milestone during the trip.

Congrats down south. How do you take a pic going 84 mph? Also why did you censor your avatar?

Man, I was afraid that this would lead to the sun visor issue. I just solidified my denial on this one, thanks for bringing me back to reality and helping me to pull the trigger on the extended warranty for the C4S. I know if I don't buy it the visor is going to crap the bed next time out.

As was mentioned, cruise control is your friend!

The avatar police told me to remove it, so I placed the "censored" banner over it instead. The photo is in no way risque, but whatever.

^^^ It used to be one of my favorite avatars so I was bummed you had to censor it. With all the other stuff in OT I am surprised they asked you to remove it.

OK, Porsche87, you've inspired me! It's been about a year, so I'm going to un-censor it and let's see what happens...

If I go missing for a few days, you'll know what happened!
