Default Frunk light stays on

I finally hooked up my battery maintainer for the winter. I noticed that my frunk light stayed on when I closed the lid so I took a video from inside the frunk. Sure enough, the light stayed on, even after I locked and armed the car.

Any thoughts? would it turn off once the engine is running? I can't test the theory because the car is parked for the season - so I removed the bulb just in case.

You just reminded me that I forgot to leave my frunk open... Will do it this weekend just in case the tender craps out some how.

i sprayed the microswitch w/ electrical contact cleaner and then let that dry and then sprayed it with WD40 to keep everything working smoothly. Seems to be as good as new........
