Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I bought a 2004 C2 in May of this year and have been hanging around "unannounced" every since. I have gained much knowledge from those here and thought it would be a good idea to join up. As soon as I can figure out how to get a pic of my car up I will. Until then I look forward to continuing to educate myself on my new-to-me 911 through all of the knowledgable folks here! Thank you!

Some might seem rude mentioning post pictures or else OR others will say it custom to do so. Others might just say yah right where's the pictures. Then the ones that would say post pics or get banned.............where's the pictures? is your arm broke?

Ok, I think I have done this right. 3 pics of my new ride from the place I bought it. At the time it had 56,0000 miles and now has 65,000. It is all original with no mods and will probably stay that way. Black on black with original clutch, IMS, and RMS. My indy tells me not to worry about the dreaded IMS issue and just enjoy it which I most certainly have done. Just got back from a very rapid trip to Philly prior to the recent weather unpleasantness. I don't know how I managed to avoid a speeding ticket but boy was the trip fun!! Hopefully as I get more adept at working the controls on the forum I can update the pictures. Until then "here 'tis"!!

That is a pretty looking car !! You have to look out for those speeding tickets they can be just a tad costly now days. I would consider some Euro Clear Side Markers if you haven't done so already. Is this your first Porsche ?

Congrats! Looks great in black. I would recommend getting a second opinion on the ims upgrade. I was also told not to worry about it and it ended up costing me a new (ungodly expensive) engine. Just a suggestion...it will give you great peace of mind. Enjoy the new ride!
