Nice colors. They'd look great in HDR!

@babylonboots: haha.. Thanks. I can't possibly post a HDR pic after passing a comment on it myself :P I've several of my shutterbug friends who're not big fans of HDR, so am I.

CDL,where did you go? I have my winters installed and I am planning to do the Hope Princeton Merritt loop for the second time this month. Maybe I should try something else...

I wasn't a big fan either, but my new Canon makes it so easy. Actually, I've been amazed at some of the results which actually are more lifelike than without it.

I do agree that you can go overboard. For most situations, the trick is to do HDR without being able to tell it is HDR.

Exactly.

However I think personally I have more of an issue if they are inbetween. Either use HDR to make something really artzy or use it to enhance picture to make it really realistic and more dramatic. But don't get caught in the middle somewhere...

@babylonboots: I completely agree with you.

But look at it this way. DSLRs are sooooo affordable these days, so everyone can lay hands on them.
And when the camera comes with HDR as well, who wouldn't be tempted to try out some stuff
I guess it takes a bit of a practice to produce something that is pleasant to see.

@hooger: Is this the yellow wide-body car that has a big spoiler at the back? because.. I remember having had quite a bit of fun along I-78 east a few months ago with such a car, all the way to jersey city I don't remember if I had the 996 at that point or if it was the old '86. Anyways I'll PM you some of the fun roads that I've driven on in the area.

That was probably me, but its a narrow body with a fixed spoiler and yes, its on the back . I do remember a red 911 on 78 with the powertech logo a few months back heading into JC with me. Did you give a thubms up through the moon-roof?
