All clean.

Note the beating the condensers are taking from road/track debris.

I'll install protective screens the next time the bumper is off.

Any pics of the car with the splitter on? What kind of splitter did you get?

It's a gt3 cup splitter.

GMG, TRG, etc. sell them.

It was too dark to take a pic. I'll grab some tomorrow morning.

Good job... I did mine last year. Have you any idea where to get the protective screens for a stock 996 front end?I would ike to put some on mine to protect the condensors. The local roads here have lots of loose chippings down on them and I feel certain some must find their way to the condensors. They have already pitted the front of the bumper which i am pissed off about. It would need a very tight mesh to keep out the small gravel.

I haven't been able to find a splitter for a stock MKI bumper. Anyone know of a source?

Not only are your radiators clean, but you also lost several pounds of excess weight as well. Nice job, need to do mine again just to see how much has accumulated in a couple of years since the last cleaning.

I am tempted to pull the bumper cover and do it the way you did, D.

In the past, i put the car on my lift and went at the task with a 18" long thin curved air nozzle attached to the compressor hose. I am sure I did not get all the stuff out, but I bet I got the vast majority removed.

I was stunned at how much crap got in there. Mine is a C4 with 3 rads, so there was a lot of picking to do.

Question. How easy is the front bumper cover R&R?

Looking good D - breathing freer I'm sure. A few good threads on making the screens on 6-3 forum.

I'm always impressed by how much junk makes it between the condenser and radiator (impossible to reach with a vacuum).

The R&R is a cinch. With a lift, there's no question. Get that bumper off.
