Look forward to driving it and getting to know it. After you are sure everything shakes out and you don't need some coin to tighten anything up I am sure you will find plenty of things to throw some fun money at. I can't offer any suggestions on mods though, I focus on keeping mine 100% OEM stock as they left the factory.
These next ten days might seem like the longest days of your life, yet the anticipation is part of the fun.

So in a recent post I announced that I just took delivery of a 03 C4S and had to leave for 10 days on business. Well I am at LAX in between flights with 14 hours of travel ahead of me and thought I would ask for help so I had something to look forward to upon my return.
I have already read the things you should know about your 996 (very helpful by the way). I can tell my car already has a short throw shifter and aftermarket SS exhaust but wanted to know if there are any JDIs or just do it items that make owning a 996 more enjoyable?
