None of those are PIWIS cables in the slightest. Mainly knock off previous gen durametric as others have pointed out. If you need to read and reset a code it does work.

You can get version 5 of the durametric software from their website.

Does 5.0.0 work with 3rd party cables or do some modules/functions throw errors because it detects the 3rd party cable ?

You guys using bootleg cables with Durametric's software suck. Durametric does the work and should reap the reward. People on this forum will drop $1000+ for a set of N-rated tires but won't shell out $287 for the enthusiast version of the product that will save you countless dollars in the long run? Grrrrrrrr.

Thats not possible. The 996 threads only show up when searching for IMSB issues. But you do sound like the typical Porsche owner if that makes you feel better.

Naw, it's not my Porsche. The few times I've driven it I do feel like an *******.

The Chinese piwis cable cracks durametric version 3.0.15,works for some Porsches, but not the newer cars. A friend of a friend is selling it...bought one for my uncle to reset his 07 boxster tpms warning light, downloaded v5.0 for free from durametric official site, and it worked just fine.

That's less than a dinner with Wife and a couple kidz at a halfway decent restaurant...
