These LED headlights, nice or ugly?

Personally I do not like them. Just the normal LED stuff around the headlights you see on any Honda. Way too cluttered looking and the price is too expensive for the quality you will get (To even think about trying them) Just my opinion though, different strokes for different folks.

I don't like them either; a little too busy and gaudy. I wish an aftermarket company would just make a simple headlight assembly that integrates the headlight, fog light, and turn signal better. And mold the little corner piece right into the unit! While I love the overall shape of the Mk.1 factory headlamp, the internals look mismatched and assembled without much thought as to what the final product would look like on the car. The lines and textures just don't match up just right. The later mk.2/turbo headlamp was better organized but I prefer the earlier shape.

Probably the best aftermarket LED's that I've seen for the 996, but still don't think they belong on a 996, it's trying to make it into something that it isn't.

You forgot fuzzy dice, fake wood panelling and spinning hub caps. They all seemed like good ideas at the time to way too many people..I think the LED's look great on the Audi's, but can't help to think they too will look dated very quickly.

IMO it isn't much different than adding the LED tail lights which many on here have done. If you are going to do the rear, why not do the front so it at least has the same concept at each end.
They also come in Black. sorry no pic of the black installed.
Extrememotorcars of Santa Barb, Ca has installed some of these and they look nice on the right car.

^^ They look a lot worse in the uninstalled pictures than they do in the installed pictures.

They still don't don't it for me installed. But neither does that bumper.
I'm not a big fan of turning the front of cars into cheap christmas trees by stringing rowas of white LEDs everywhere. Especially now that Chrysler has gottent into the game and everyone is trying to one up the other with LEDs. Enough already.

All questions of taste aside (lights and wives)...there is no mention of these lights being DOT or E approved, which is being checked more often these days during inspection.
