Default Maybe I found my 996...thoughts?

First, let me say thanks for all of the responses on my other posts, and thanks in advance for what I expect will be valuable insight to what I'm about to post.

So, I've been looking for a 996 for a couple of months. I've been fairly focused on a specific model and perhaps I've found it. I've not had the PPI done yet, but the seller is being agreeable in making that happen. The car is in SoCal, I'm in NorCal, so I haven't even seen or driven it yet. All that said, the price sounds a little high to me and I thought I'd get some feedback from the experts.

I'm looking at:
2000 Cabriolet
forest green/tan interior
NOT full leather
manual
70k miles
no wrecks
2nd owner is selling
garage kept
RMS completed by dealer
brakes and rotors at 60k

Service records include a reseal of cam shaft covers and intermediate shaft seal...is that receipt speak for an IMS replacement?

Car looks to be in great shape.

Price? Let me know what you all think!

Again, thanks, and maybe this will be the one...

I am in SoCal (zip 92592) and if it is nearby, will gladly swing by to give it a look-see

Shaft seal is probably not the LN Engineering updated replacement bearing.

Good luck!

You can determine that with the date on the receipt. IMS bearing was not available until last year or two. Do a search for Flat 6 innovation IMS bearing and you will know when the first batch went out into mass market.

If for sale at a dealer, probaby in the $24 - $27 range depending on condition/mechanical/options.
Private deal subtract $3k. Thats my best guess anyway.

OK, the shaft seal was in 2007, done at a Porsche dealer. So it looks like no IMS work done.

You guys are great. Any other thoughts?

$25k is probably right. I am not a green fan so I wouldn't pay $20k for it but we are all different.
