My last 911 had one of those on it when I bought it, but I have no idea if it did anything. I didn't realize it was 200 bucks damn. Porsche tax sure is expensive..

They claim that there is a modest power increase, but mostly what they claim is a really cool sound... lol, did your car sound cool under acceleration?

It had the Fabspeed exhaust too, it sounded good. I don't know if that silicon hose was a factor.

There are DIY threads that explain how to get the same results for less than 10 bucks.

I have this mod but $200 is ridiculous. Go on ebay and buy it for $40 or have one made. search "gillete mod" The intake sound is definitely improved but you get used to it in a couple days. Its a cheap mod but nothing like replacing cats and mufflers.
