Default Noise from gas lid cover when locking

When i lock my car I get a strange noise coming from the gas cover. is this a mater of just lube or does it require replacing?

Could try lubing it with something like Plexus. I used to hear a clunk of sorts but messed with mine and also lubed it. Now I don't recall hearing anything from their for a long time. You should check if the lid is locking when locking the doors. There is a collar for where the plunger goes through the bodywork. Maybe the sleeve is displaced and the plunger rubs like mine was doing. I kind of remember it as being tricky dealing with the apparatus.

+1 ^

The little plastic widget ferrule collar thingy that the lock slides through has probably come lose or missing or the locking solenoid is on it's way out.
