Default Clutch issue

I have a 1999 911 that has a clutch issue. The clutch pedal when push goes to the floor. You can pull the pedal back up and it stays up, but as soon as you go to push it, it goes back to the floor. I was told the clutch runs off the brake system or something like that. Well when I checked the brake fluid was empty. And that would cuase the air in the line. But the hydraulic was still full. I could use all the advice possible before sending it to the shop. Thanks

ummmm... well brake fluid in the system is probably a good thing to start with.

It helps to have working master/slave cylinders.

Along with not having any leaks.

And being bled properly.

But aside from that, my guess is, fluid topped off, brakes and clutch bled and you'll be back off in no time.

Here's a DIY if you are interested:

Does the brake fluid being low have any effect on the clutch.

Try just filling the clutch reservoir.
