Everything that 996C2 and Jake have said is the truth. I just don't understand why anyone would try one of these rebuilds on the cheap or without the proper training, parts, and facilities. Back in 08 when my engine decided it needed a 2 piece crank shaft, Jake was the only guy in the county I could find that would even talk to me about a rebuild. 3k track only miles later its still going strong. I recommend his programs for air and water cooled engines every chance I get.
