Default Convertible top not in limit position

I did the hack to my '02 996 cab so I can operate the top while moving (w/one click of parking brake) awhile back. It works great. Followed Loren's instructions to the T.

Noticed to today as I was browsing through the onboard computer to reset my mileage, etc. that the ! was next to the Check setting, so I selected it. The following error came up (see pic).

"Convertible top not in limit position"

Not sure if this is an error I should expect by cutting that one pink wire. If so, I can live with it. If not, I'm

I stopped, put the top through a full up/down cycle thinking it may just needed a reset or something. Error still there. Everything is working as normal - just wondering if anyone who did the hack is seeing the same error. I'm not sure if the error came on as soon as I cut the wire because I never checked the computer until now (months later).

Thanks!

Ok, went out for lunch, started it up, dropped the top and was curious about the warning so checked it again... nothing. Gone. Weird.

Gremlins. Or something.
