Update:
Got the car back Monday night. It's nice to have a 2nd gear that doesn't grind or pop out. Although I didn't have an AOS failure prior to this work, I did notice a significant reduction in the vacuum when I remove the oil filler cap. Before it had a significant vacuum and now it's only a slight negative pressure.
Once I get the BBS wheels on, I'll post pics before and after.
Other than that, it's good to be driving a 996 again!
