sorry for slow reply:
I would not monkey F%$ with that pipe...find a set of tip that fit your car...any MKI tips should fit, there are lots of them out there for not much money....

I didnt rerad that full ad, but those "look right"
the C4S tips should be worth more, check the F.S. forums

I wish I had confidence in the shops around here. Most places either do a hack job or break stuff along the way. I like to keep it simple for them. I'm the guy that looks over your shoulder since is my porsche they are using blow torches and grinders around. They are used to working on chevys and fords. I've had numerous bad experiences in the past.
Plus why would I want to ruin a perfect set of c4s pipes?

you need to drive up with your bright green JD hat on and some suspenders...tell em its your bosses car and "HE's" picky...
I seriously cannot believe how many people say the muffler shop wont bend and weld in a piece of pipe..wtf do these shops do????
I also had a shop say they "couldnt do it" or say it was $$$$$ because it was "custom" **** its a pipe...you weld one end and you weld the other end...DONE!!

HAHA. I agree. How hard can cutting and welding pipe be?? I know I could do it if I had the equipment. Today I actually found a exhaust specialty shop in Omaha. He was a "yes man" and assured me the PSE Hack would come out great (stainless steel and mandrel bends). I gave him the diagram from the forums so he can't really jack this one up. We will see. I should be getting a call anytime to come pick them up.
I may ask him about fitting the C4S tips on (if he does a good job on the mufflers).

Hi Ryan,
The silver car is not mine (it has a tubi exhaust). I'm running fabspeed maxflo mufflers with stock tips (installed by previous owner). Some day, I'd like to have a full Manthey system.

Well I got my mufflers back from the shop and they are all hacked up... the guy welded a 2.5 inch pipe instead of the 2.25 that I requested and it was complete slop. I wish I could just do everything myself since I hate paying for half *** work. The sound is decent, not too loud or too quiet. I wish it was a tad louder but what can ya do.....

bigger is better! Sloppy? Oh well. They will get louder in time and they are louder outside then inside. Find a covered garage or tunnel, they are louder than you think. should be pretty nice!
