Just bought a 2002 996 twin turbo!!!!!
...and all I can say is holy sh@#$%t this car is fast...i have NEVER driven a car with this type of speed before...I currently own 2 964's, but wanted to take the plunge on the water cooled flat six, so I decided to go all the way on the turbo...
I'll have to admit that its got so much power I'm a little scared of it at first, but over time, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.
Do people chips these twin turbos are is that a ridiculous question.
stats: 17,245 miles. Grey on Silver. 6 speed. $51,000.00 out the door.

Congratulations. And YES, people chip these cars. Interesting in that the TT's need to be chipped less than the NA cars, because they put out so much power. And, because of their design, they get more reaction from being chipped. I remember the first time I put my foot into my TT. It was "hold on for dear life."

Burning Brakes
Last night I was playing with a Ferrari on the highway and I floored it and he was behind me, boy I wish I had some turbo's last night! I could see his headlights getting closer and fast.
