New is $500 each.

Unless you talk to Ed. Then it is $1,000 for the first one, and the second is free.

Yes all day he got here about 1030am(I live in Milford) he did all the sanding by hand. Was 3-4 different grits. Shot the epoxy and had to wait about an hr to set up then wet sanded twice and buffed and waxed. He said normally he comes back the next day to wet sand but I was so far away decided to wait it out.

Sounds like your guy did a better job than my guy. My tech didn't do any sanding after the application of the three coats of epoxy.

This guy was really meticulous, was really hot here yesterday so had some orange peel. He charged me $175 but I gave $200 because his attention to detail was awesome. I know sounds like an ad but I couldnt be happier with the job he did.

Doesn't make much sense financially (for the repair guy). $200 for 8 hours of work!?

He was the owner of the franchise, and took the results personally. Also I think maybe he didn't realize how far of a ride it was to where I am. Either way I'm more than satisfied with the results.

Where in Northeastern PA do you live? We have a couple of rental homes in Mount Pocono.

This is an excellent post with a real time solution and cost savings, as compared to buying new. I have the same issue with my C4S and this is a good solution for me. I'm going to search for a dealer in the S. California marketplace. Thanks for sharing.

Not to steal any thunder from the results of this, but 3M carries a kit that you can do this on your own.I think you may only be able to clean and polish them. I don't think you get the epoxy and such, but I have done this before with the 3m kit and it turns out great. You just need to apply a UV protectant that is good for plastic after to protect them. Kit number is 39014, but you can get professional kits also.

I also have used a DIY kit and the results were descent but compared to what pictures were posted, mine now looks like #$%^%. I was planning on buying new lights, so this is a more economical way to go.
