Painting Bumperettes and need paint suggestions
Ive decided to paint the bumperettes using the steps in provided by Fergus. My paint is Arctic Silver and I need suggestions/input on what type of spray paint would be the closes match. Any and all input are welcome.
Thanks,
Charles

I've always had trouble matching silver. It may cost a bit more than DIY, but I'd consider painted pieces from bumperplugs.com
I've always been really happy with paint quality I've received from them and they do bumperettes.

I think if you go to the hardware store and buy a spraycan, you will have a constant reminder that you tried it on the cheap. You'll be lucky if it's even close.
Bumperplugs or body shop, IMO.

For bumperettes, you need a mix of paint, and flex, or the paint will flake off as soon as you touch it!
I got mine from Bumperplugs. Expensive, but worth saving the trouble of painting!

Fergus, what was the brand of flexible primer you used on your bumperette's? I'm about to do this myself as well and knew the primer was key.
Appreciate any tips you can give.
Cheers, Scott

To get the right size/shape of metal particles in the paint you have to use one of the Porsche approved paints: Standox, Spies-Hecker or Glasurit. To get the orientation requires the skill of an experienced painter and the proper paint application system.
Sincerely,
Macster.
