Default Wiring Question

The heavier solid brown wire is the ground. Correct.

Specifically as related to the wiring harness on the Bose amplifier in the frunk.

I would highly suggest investing in a multimeter. Wiring isn't something you want to guess on.

I've got one. but there were about 30 wires to check and was looking for a shortcut. Indeed Brown was ground.

No joy on the Dension upgrade today. I finally got everything located and figured out only to discover Yazaki connectors when I got ready to hook everything up.

Ordered the yazaki connectors so maybe next weekend.

Did you see my thread over in the Turbo forum about the Dension install? Could have avoided the Yaz versus Tyco issue

Help me out. I saw your thread, but assumed you ordered the Yaz kit. I didn't have the same parts as were in your pictures.

Or did I misss something?

I ordered the adapter kit post hoc. In my thread I explained how to quickly check which type you have before you order your Dension so you will know if you need to get the adapter and eliminate any down time if you had the Yaz type.

Just rechecked your post. My kit didn't include a Yazaki adapter as showed in your pics.

The kit doesn't include the Yazaki adapter. You have to order it separately.

FYI....you can delete a post by clicking the little white piece of paper icon in the bottom right of your post and then select "delete" and then select "delete message" then select "delete this message".
