I did that last year too. Easier than changing the pollen filter.

Just did mine also. Very easy. Did it in the parking lot of the Porsche dealer.

Above passenger's knees. Open frunk, remove battery cover, use Torx #25 to remove the bolt in the passenger side plastic cover, remove the cover pull the filter out put the new one in. Repeat in reverse order.
You can use either the carbon or paper filter. Both fit carbon cost more might keep some odors out.

That was my first mod...took 3 minutes. Encouraged me to try pollen filter..just as easy.
