mods with center console out
Greetings all. My 2004 C4S cab is going into shop to replace the e-brake - with a carbon fiber one. Once the center console is out, I am putting in a SSK. Is there any other worthwhile improvements to consider once the console is out?

ashtray delete, but it doesnt require the console removal
i wanted to put some alcantara instead of leather on some console parts, but it will be a later project

But I already saved TONS of weight with the carbon fiber e-brake!!!
Is the 997 shift upgrade separate from the ssk? SSK shortend throws 30%. 997 is 10-15%. I assume its one or the other. 997 is much cheaper than OEM SSK. Any other advantage?

There is the 997 and then the 997 SSK. I have the 997 SSK and I love it. Best mod for me....
