Default Cone Filter Question

I'm a bit hesitant to use the oil impregnated type of filter in my Evoms intake because of the potential problems the oil causes. I've also seen first hand how the oil migrates up the intake path on another car.
I had heard there are a few high quality paper cone filters out there. Can anyone make some recommendations?
Thanks!

The only problems I have ever heard of exist when you apply too much oil to the filter after cleaning. Or just clean your MAF periodically.

Just wipe down the filter with some newspaper before you install it and you should be OK.

I have 2 filters for my EVOMs, bought an extra last time I was in Az. I use the K&N filter cleaning kit, let it completely dry then spray with the oil, outside of filter only. Then i wrap in kitchen towel and store for at least a couple of (warm) days. I change to a clean filter roughly every 5000miles or when it looks dirt enough. If you clean and oil the filter at the same time you should never have a problem when it comes to fitting the clean one.

Now getting the cone in and out of the EVOMS housing, that's another story, tough b!tching job!

Use a AEM dryflow filter. No oil. I have had one for about a year. It's washable too.
