Default OIL OIL OIL !!!

Hi guys,

hahaha. I am gonna start a new thread about OIL. The last one i saw was in 2007. Also, did some search on what oil to use but to no avail ...

So starting this thread i want to know what BRAND and VISCOSITY you guys use. Hearing that using higher viscosity oil is better? True?

Currently am using Mobil 1 0w40 and was thinking of switching to 10w40. Thoughts? All summer all year round.

Cheers

You do realize you are on the verge of opening a can of chaos with this question. All I will say is I use Mobil 1 5-40. Will switch to Syntec for the next change.

just one question, what viscosity do you guys recommend for 31 degrees celsius climate? Downsides to running 10-40 or even 15-50?

Here's another article to read --> http://www.performanceoilnews.com/oi...nst_oils.shtml

Then come back and ask about IMS failures
