Default What to look for??

Ok. I know search is my friend... and this topic has probably been beaten to death just like in every other forum., but what the heck - my time is extremely limited with finals coming up. Anyway, I have had a variety of p-cars, 944S2, 928S, 964C2, 993C4 and was at a local dealership today just 'cause I was near there. I knew that they had two p-cars, a 944S2 Cab and a 2002 996C4 Cab. So I stopped in and of course the battery was dead in the 996 so I could not do anything, adjust the seat, open the trunk, operate the top, etc. I was told that he has a new battery on order. The dealer is Imports., Ltd. in St louis, MO. Too be honest I had seen the car before and was not too interested but now the car is being offered at $26900. So, the car is Jade Green over grey with a grey top; 18" twist rims, good rubber and 36700 on the clock. I don't remember thinking that the car had a curvy hips and it looked to me to have today, silver calipers and until I can see the sticker for options I won't know what other factory goodness might be there. So I am looking at 2006 Caymans and along with a 97 993 TipS cab and a 97 993 Targa with a TipS. Getting to the age where I don't really car if the car has a stick or Tip. My wife thinks the 993C4's clutch is too heavy and that the car is too loud (motorsound pkg). Anyway what are your guys thoughts on the good, the bad and the ugly on a 2002 Cab? It has the glass rear window but I did not see a windstop. Here is a link -.

Lets ignore the sales pitch - one owner doctor, yada yada yada and just talk car. One other q, will 993 rims fit on a 996? I have a set of v17" Targa Speedlines with p-zeros mounted that I have moved between several cars in the past. I really like them. TIA.

You don't want 17's on a 996 and the color combo is not very appealing. All your points on the car are things that you can get afterwards or on any car. You can;t change that color...My $0.02
