Sold today! It sucks not having it anymore......
The guy who bought it is a Porsche enthusiast, races 944's. He liked mine, said it handled well, no power issues and liked the fact that I cared for the car. I was open about everything that I thought was wrong with the car, paint chips, tires, battery is still the same one but never had issues. Pointed out where the 3 dings where etc. Gave him all my parts for 996's except the IMS tools. He didn't want the Cup tires though, so those are for sale.
Nice guy, glad it went to a good home. I'm going to be looking at a 1970 Targa roller this week we'll see where it goes. 3/1/11 never forget.
I'll put the cup tires up in the For Sale section.
Last photo with my baby.

Congratulations Ed. My wife misses our Vesuvio car. For a while we had his and her's 99 996s. It was fun. In my years of Porsche ownership, I have only seen two other Vesuvio cars, in person. Good luck with the project.

I also did not have to pull the dings out which I figured would have ran $200 bucks. I'm happy with the price. It gives me a good starting budget to start the next project.
