Default 2002 Porsche C4S Black Wheels?

OK, OK, I'm starting to take to buying this C4S (yes with Tip)

Has anyone powdercoated those standard C4S wheels matte black? I keep thinking it would add some dimension to the
Arctic Silver.

I had mine done in a matte black on my Turbo. I use them for the track though. I'm not at home but I'm sure there is a picture of my Turbo on track somewhere here. Car is Slate Grey.

Just have a C4 but I have gone the powder coat route. Fairly inexpensive.

Mine are a dark grey metallic with gloss. Went with a gloss for cleaning reasons not sure how easy it is to clean a matte finish but I'm it would look good.

What is inexpensive? Talked to one guy and his were $800. Seems steep for powdercoating.

I paid about $300 for chemical stripping and powedercoat. $800 is a lube job without the lube.

As i work at a powdercoating facility, the cost is a sack of nickle oxide blasting media and a few bucks for powder, and a couple of hrs in the dreaded blasting booth.

sounds like a winner. I like the look on Sneaky Petes,; i.e., the dark grey gloss, kind of has a nice shade maybe a little like the diamond black I've seen on some rims on tirerack.

ok, so when can you offer up some RL discount on powdercoating? Just remembered, ak lives in Alaska, so shipping would pretty much kill the discount.

Help! Does anyone actually have a nice res pic of black (oem turbo twist) wheels and the arctic silver?

And for the RL discount, absolutely! Unfortunately one inexperienced in shipping things up here could easily pay what the wheels are worth in shipping, let alone the money spend on coating them...

I actually did my Mazdaspeed6 wheels and they look fantastic.

I AM actually on the lookout for stuff that i could build for Pcars... We have a state of the art CNC machine shop, 2- CNC waterjets, aformentioned pcoating, solid modelling...
