Difference between polished vs. glass bead blasted mufflers?

Difference between polished vs. glass bead blasted mufflers?
I need to replace the mufflers on my 996.1 C2, and I’m looking at the Dansk sports exhaust muffler set. It comes in either polished stainless steel (https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...=c&SVSVSI=3190) or glass bead blasted stainless steel in OE style (https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...=c&SVSVSI=3190).
I confirmed with a rep that both will fit my car. Aside from looks, are there any other differences in terms of durability/corrosion resistance?

Assuming the pictures are correct, those look like two very different products. OEM muffler has 3 chambers. Suspect the stainless model is just a single chamber model and will likely be louder than the OE style.

If you choose the simpler non valved option you can save some decent $.
They came very well packed from the uk. The valved ones have given good service for 10k miles on my car.
I had a good poke around them the other day, the whole system ( headers, x-pipe cats and mufflers) still look like new(ish). Never winter driven tho.
With the valves open the car sounds like a proper race car closed, they still sound much better than my stock ones, which are anemic sounding...
When the car starts, they are open by default, so cold starts scare cats for miles. Dogs howl all down the valley. Old women mutter, spit, and cross themselves.

Tons of posts online about the Dansk not lasting more than 2-3 years, it seems they fail quite commonly.
I'll probably start with just the muffler for now but their x-pipe cats seem well-recommended so it'll be on my list!
