r1de23 I think those would look great on your car, I almost got some just like those but I still couldn't decide if I wanted them in black or silver, but they are staggered too which I like & the chrome trim really sets them off. Really depends if you want that mean all blacked out look, I just think with the silver your car would have some kind of seperation, the wheels would stand out but not over take the car. IMO

The black looks meaner but to me they just look dirty all the time, don't know why but thats my opinion. Guess it just depends what look your going for, the black with the chrome trim look better to me because at least theres some kind of deviance between the wheel & tire.
i know what your saying.. unless you constantly put tire shine of the tires the black rim with tire looks bad sometimes... i may hold off until after the winter.. in the mean time i will save up to but a nice set of wheels instead of those ebay cheap no name brand wheels. They do look decent for replicas though. I'm sure they weigh a ton.

r1de23, I'm not 100% positive but I think ANY chrome rims in the Porsche crowd is not a very popular choice, at least the few times i've seen it discussed. Just check around & you'll get some ideas. Go Cornhuskers, I think they've got one of LSU's old assistant coaches as their head coach(Bo Pelini) He ought to do good there.

haha, im just keeping an open mind about it. I'm not going to base my decision on someone's opinion. Someone vehicles can get away with chrome wheels, I'm not sure if the the 996 is one of them or not. (i Need a picture)

Don't you dare change those wheels!!! Most have to at least have the chrome lip to pull it off. I like em.

Hey RPMulli your PM box is full so sorry for resurrecting this post from the dead lol but I absolutely love the rims on your 996. I have the exact same car and am looking right now to replace my stock rims. Do you mind sharing the ones you are running in your picture? Also what tire size you recommend to run with them. Thanks in advance!
