Cabriolet headliner 2003 911
My headliner on my convertable top has slightly seperated from the frame in the rear corner. There is an area where the headliner criss-crosses above the hinge and a small area of velcroe- the headliner has seperated just above the velcroe.
There is some blue glue on the frame that held the headliner to the frame that has released.
My question is if anyone knows what kind of glue this is and where to get it?

Welcome to Rennlist!
Sorry, I didn't have a cab so I can't help with the glue question.
Posting pics of your car would be MUCH appreciated. Don't let Tim see that you haven't posted any pics, because........ oh, wait.......... I'm Tim!

Thanks for the welcome Tim. I will post a picture of the car as soon as I can- I have been busy fixing things on the car lately.
This forum has been very helpful for the repairs I have made in the past two weeks on the car; new ignition with switch, new oil pressure sensor, new belt, oil change, and replace air filter.
Rennlist was recomended by a member of the 190sl group forum which I am a member of. I restored two Mercedes 190sl's and sold them and bought a porsche. I got tired of working on 50 year old cars that had no air conditioning.
I also thought that a 2003 911 with 45,000 miles would be bullet proof...
Still need the blue glue source if anyone knows.
Thanks- John

If you didnt manage to aquire the correct glue for the job, it might be a good idea to visit your nearsest Porsche Garage. They may know of an upholsterer which they use at their shop.
