I'll be 60 this summer and pay $1000 yr for my 911 and my wife's Volvo Cross Country in southern Maine. But driving a 911 helps me stay youngat heart.

Jesus! My insurance for the 911 makes my insurance increase by $7000 a year!! I thought I was getting screwed, but all the other insurance companies that I checked out are $200 to $400 higher... I guess that's something to look forward to when getting older.....

$7000/yr????

there must be either an error in your post, or something you are not telling us about your drivers record

no error...california I guess. I'm 28, have one ticket and one accident, but that wouldn't make it go that high. I had a vw golf and that thing was $1700/year when I had a perfect record, then went up to $1900/year after the ticket and an accident.

I guess I have the lowest insurance here then - I'm 40, no tickets, leisure use and I pay around $400 per year. I actually pay more for my Acura than I do my Porsche.

It isn't your insurance that is bad. It's your age
