Default Black non-smoker kit in Grey/Black 996?

Has anyone installed the MY 2000+ Non-smoker kit in a 996 with Graphite Grey interior? My 2003 Targa actually has the Grey interior with Black carpet and the lower half of the door trim in Black, so I'm thinking I can get away with the Black non-smoker kit. Opinions, experience?

Thanks folks,

Lawrence

Do you think black would look cool or are you just stuck because that's the only color you can get? Have you contacted Eric to see if you can get a kit that properly matches your interior? Your request is a "style" issue so it's very subjective. Where are you coming from ?

Thanks for the comments - I'm looking at Black because there are only two colors available, black and a different grey that was common in '97 - '99 models. Suncoast advised that Porsche only released the kit in Black from MY 2000 on.

I have enough black (and a little carbon - emergency brake and shift lever ****) that I think I can get away with it. Plus the black carpet should help. In any case, its inexpensive. if its really looks horrible, you might see it for sale here!

Thanks guys.
