I bought mine from a private party and for $100 the Park Place ran the paperwork thru them - it made the buyer feel safer and quite frankly was an easy way to handle the title and taxes....plus they had financing options even though I did not use them....
might be worth asking your local dealer (or other higher end car lot)

UPDATE!!! APPROVED!!!!! Step 1 in getting this little 911 in my hands is complete....

Whats funny/sacry about this was they intially turned me down becuase I put net pay instead of gross pay...but I forwarded them paystubs and was approved in less than 24hrs... Im soo happy!!!!!!!!
I ran a carfax and some other (top secret) checks on car and owner and the car is perfect no accidents, incidents ect!!!!!

Gonna check car out on sunday have seller sign paperwork and make copies of title and should have car by next weekend....I feel like a little kid.

Probably the #1 reason you see cars get relisted on eBay after they are sold. Bidders check on financing after they win bid. (Anecdotal info based on discussions with sellers on eBay)

Awesome! Glad Penfed came through.
***One note of information for future reference. I own a business, and as such I had to provide them with 2 years of tax returns and a YTD P&L for the company. Still got 3.99% so was worth the hassle.
