FS: 2004 C4S coupe 3450 miles!!
Yes, after a great deal of ambivalence, I've decided to sell my car. I know, I've heard "Damn it, just drive it!!" but I'm not getting the kind of use or joy out of owning it that I should. Someone who simply wants what is likely the best, lowest mileage 2004 C4S in the states will get a beautiful car at a fraction of what I paid in '05. The car is basically new, untouched, never tracked - hell, virtually never driven. But, serviced yearly and is just pristine. I've posted a full ad for it in the classifieds - here's the link.

Phil, As much as I would like to abuse you I agree with your choice, if your not going to drive it and you aren't enjoying the car you might as well sell it at get something that might amuse you more.
Best of luck with the sale, it's a stunning car!.
regardless, I hope you hang around the forum.

Link posted - thanks. I love the TT - primarily since it's a roadster. Very, very different cars. Not sure what's next, but it will be something special.
Exactly my reasoning, Marc. I rationalized keeping it because of how gorgeous the car is, but the fact that I'm really not using it, I've decided to sell it. A number of years ago, I purchased a '65 Jaguar e-type coupe that was fully restored and won a number of concours events - but, because the car was so perfect, it was also rarely driven. My wife kept reminding me that every time she looked in the garage, she could only see a pile of cash sitting (literally) in the garage under cover, so I sold that one as well. I don't want a collector car, just something fast and fun that I'll actually drive. Half the fun is looking for the right car. Thanks for your understanding - it's not an easy decision. I've put an ad up on Autotrader as well.

I think Tim should buy Phil's car.

After owning the TT vert, I really find I love a small roadster to zip around in. The new 340hp TT-RS (if they bring it to the states) should be a great car. The Boxster S really apeals to me as well. Better car than the Audi. Do I sound confused enough??

I came to the same conclusion.
I offered to give him a ride to the Honda dealer.

Its cheaper to just buy a full size Ferrari poster and hang it on the garage walls... it might even get more mileage that way.
Phil, GLWTS... hope to get another run before the summer ends.... gotta put another 300 miles before someone takes her away. She is a beauty!

BTW, I didn't think the TT is that much smaller than a 996
TT:
Overall length: 164.5"
Overall width: 72.5"
Wheelbase: 97.2
996:
Overall length: 174.8"
Overall width: 70.1"
Wheelbase: 92.8"
It seems the 996 is more than 10" longer than a TT!
The 996's wheelbase is much better (shorter), however.
