Default Need input on 2001 996

As the title says, I found an 'interesting' color 2001 996 Turbo on the 'bay :

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...fCarsQ5fTrucks

My wife loves the color and says that we should go for it...The car is across the country from us, so it would be a purchase without a drive...

Any information would be greatly appreciated! Looking for thoughts on what it might need, are there any well known problems that I should expect, etc...

Thanks in advance!

If anyone buys this car, they have to be prepared to drive it until the wheels fall off. Seriously...

Yes, this one has been around for a while.

If only they had put more of a standard color interior in it, it might have been a little bit more acceptable.

I'm sure it's a great car to drive, but wow... that color...

I think your first step is to get the wife tested for color-blindness, specifically, red/green deficiency.

Hope this was helpful.

No wonder it has such low miles...would you drive it if you owned it?

Pretty sure that's wimbledon green and it was an available color to order in '01.

PS: I have one myself but my interior is natural brown leather.

Love the exterior color, but the interior is a deal breaker
