Default Bought an '06 Accord Coupe w/ 5-speed stick

I've been driving it all week, shifts effortlessly, easiest 5-speed I have ever used!

Today, I drove my 996 (after giving the battery a boost due to lack of use). Compared to the Honda, the 996 feels like a race car! Heavier clutch, tighter shifter, etc, etc. I guess after NOT driving it for a while, I appreciate it all over again!

I feel your pain Tim! The Honda is a great car, but the 996 is a MACHINE!

Andy,

Finally, someone who can relate to my situation... sort of. My Accord is an automatic!

I had an Accord my last year of college, it was a 2000 V6 Coupe, black on black.. it was one of the nicest/most comfortable cars I have ever owned and it was pretty fast too..

Cool

Tim,
I'm hurt. How quickly you have forgotten me.
AndyK,
I too am a "tweener" (not to be confused with the Weiner') '99 C2 coupe with all the right stuff. '07 Civic EX coupe/auto with all the stuff one would expect.
And my experience is the same. I love drivng the Civic. Feels like a nice gokart. And then I get into the 996, and it feels like a real nice race car.
Then I jump into the JEEP Grand Cherokee Limited with a HEMI and I feel like it is 1970. Then I jump into the Donzi and it feels... well, I digress.

Now We Are Three (or so)!

Hey, I have a 1995 Honda riding mower that is just awesome. It's even water cooled! Can I join the Honda club?

Try driving an NSX. It is like an accord on steroids, but the shifter is still just as sweet.

Yes, you have a Civic..... but you also have a Big Wiener AND a Porsche! I don't have either of those, so I am stuck with only the Accord.

Speaking of big wieners, you and Dave (Coochas) on the 997 Forum should compare notes. He just traded his C4S Speed Yellow for a 997 Orange Turbo. Here is a pic of Dave and his C4S.
