Default BMW umbrella installed, pic included.

Paid quite a bit and this was nice in my Dinan 3. Kept it for the convienence and the silver matches so well...also the leather prefs. This is just a pic before I installed it. Stealth, and always handy. Great umbrella and push button action. Why waste it...recycle it in the Porsche.

Again, this was just a pic when I was installing it. You can tell the right screw was not it. I had to angle it just like in the BMW for easy access when I need it. In the foot well, perfect..................just like BMW designed it. No reason to do anything but put it in the 911.

Sucks bringing a big umbrella and if you forget it....this is always there.

I am assuming it does not fit in the umbrella slot in the passenger sill. I have thought about buying the porsche one that fits but cannot justify $75 for looks to fill the hole. My car does not see much rain. anyone have one to sell for less?

My thought exactly! It's great to put such an expensive and classy looking umby to good use in the Porsche though!

Ps - I like the Walther!

LOL, 20+ years retired military, now working Anti Terrorism. These toys calm me down. I am actually a pretty nice guy with no anger issues....LOL.

The AK fits perfect behind the seats on the way to the range.

Neither could I, but I still bought it. Looks great in there even though I've only used it about 10 times in 6 years.

All that said, were I you, I'd be cautious if I ever got pulled over by a LEO. That handle and case could belong to a lot of things other than an umbrella. You might get an unexpectedly strong reaction if he/she thought you were reaching for something.

That is 100% not a problem for me with the work I do. I will just leave it at that.

looks great you should have hid the mounting screws up under the consol side cover right above it.
