Amen... Nobody in So Cal is a fan either... not that we didn't make out in the deal, but when he thought he was going to "languish" in San Diego... geez... Like I said, we made out on the deal, but the NFL should have forced him to come or sit out, otherwise the draft and draft order is pointless...

Had 111mph and -11F on display last week. Nobody in the car to take a pic, though.

Loved it and would really like to do the route again. Terrific route and incredible turnout. The gorgeous day didn't hurt either. Keep me posted if you're planning on the tour again this Spring.

Phil, I'll bet it was a nostalgic drive for you..... you got to see many of the original covered bridge structures that you helped build in your late teens and early 20's! Did you guys use wooden dowels or cut nails to build those structures?

We had to build the bridges to protect our covered wagons. And I was in my 30's.

I see you guys were having fun this afternoon! Must have been Phil's day off.

We are lucky enough that our county has more covered bridges than any other in the US... they're a real joy to see... it's just a pity that the teeenagers don't appreciate them and keep trying to burn them down.

I spoke with my wife about it this evening, so we might try for mid-April. I was also asked by a colleague today when we were doing the next drive, so I guess we might end up getting enough interest to make this happen... plus he drives his red turbo even less than Phil - it's really pitiful, so I have to give him an excuse to get the car out.

Wayne, come on!!! I may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night!! It's ****in' impossible to drive a car less than Phil drives his C4S!

We should change Phil's model designation from C4S to S4E, which means.... Sits 4 Ever!

Good one! Actually, I had to go back up to see what yo were referring to. I didn't realize it had posted twice. I went back and deleted the duplicate post.

I have noticed this happening quite frequently lately to a lot of guys in the Forums. Sometimes the connectivity to Rennlist is extremely slow, almost like I dropped internet connection. I guess that Rennlist has the hiccups?

some of us just figured since there were no new threads, you had resorted to posting the same thing over and over and over

Well, both you and Dave could be right! Maybe I am getting senile and, as Yogi Berra would say, experiencing "de ja vu.... all over again."

True, but he's close... he has an '02 Turbo (a beautiful red on chipped to 500hp) and it has less than 15,000 miles on it. Pretty sad. He drives it only on the weekend (as he commutes by train into the city each day) and most of the time the kids get in the way of him driving it on weekends... depressing.

Yeah. So there, Tim. You tell 'em, Wayne. I love it when you guys fight over me.
