Dirty nose, dirty mirror...dirty rear.
Pics of yesterday, my (used to be) black Porsche enjoying another couple of days in the White Mtns. playing in the snow.

you wont see many GT Cars in the snow as they are not Galvanized (No Rust Proffing from Factory) not a good idea with the Salt...

The 997 GT3 is definitely galvanized...I'd be shocked to learn that the 996 GT3 wasn't...I seriously doubt they'd include a 10-year unlimited mile rust warranty on the GT3 RS if it wasn't galvanized.

+1 on the galvanized.
"An important aspect of this coupe is the standard safety equipment which includes a fully galvanized high strength steel body"

Fact checking is a wonderful thing.

i was told that when the 997.1 GT3 just came out... its possible the 997.2 is Galvanized as you have provided Info up there... But i was told that the 996 and 997.1 GT Cars were not Galvanized...

The GT cars do not have undercoating, and the rust perforation warranty is shortened significantly, though still existent. I believe all 911s have been galvanized since the early 70s and all Porsches starting at some point in the 80s (the 924 was only partially galvanized for some time).
