Default Transmission Oil

I read a couple of threads about transmission oil here but I'm still not sure what to use for my 1999 C2. I have the problem with the 2nd gear, it pops out from time to time so I thought I will try the Redline 75W90 Oil which I read sometimes helps. Redline offers a 75W90 GL4 and a 75W90 NS which is GL5. Can someone tell me what the better choice is? Do I have to use GL5 or can I also run GL4???

Thanks,
Juergen

Just use the Shell transaxle lube you can get from the dealer. $90 for 3 bottles.

I recently drained my gear oil and used Swepco 203, things are very smooth and very quiet.

In correspondance with Mobil they confirmed that their synthetic gear oil does NOT meet Porsche's standard for their MT.
