Default Accessing for adjustment rear PSS9's with Bose sub

I aksed this question either here, the 6, or Renntech last year (don't remember which) and didn't get any responses. The previous owner installed PSS9's and had them set on the softest setting. I'd like to adjust, but have no idea how I am supposed to get to the top of the shock tower in the rear of the car. It's covered by the BOSE sub enlosure. Do I have to perform some kind of surgery to get the adjustment dial?

Yes, you can remove the Bose sub by pulling out the plastic "Bose" exhaust baffle and accessing the torx screws. Once that is out, you can access the top of the shock by pulling out the foam cover over each shock tower. Easier said than done. I actually used a razor and cut the foam out permenantly which relived the pressure on the shock adjustment **** and gave me easy access in the future. The foam was actually changing the settings on my shocks by working the dial around slowly while I was driving.

Good luck with the adjustment!
