Default Anyone need snow tires and/or 18" rims?

At a yardsale in my neighborhood, a fellow is selling a set of 18" wide-body rims with snow tires (oddly enough, he doesn't own or hasn't ever owned a Porsche...

Anyhow, these are reall porsche wheels - not knock-offs. However, they are not the hollow spoke turbo rims, but a non-hollow look alike (perhaps ordered with snow tires specifically for a C4S?)

Rears are 10Jx18 ET47 with 265/35 R18 snow tires (will not fit a non-wide body car).

Fronts are 8Jx18 ET50 with 225/40 R18s.

I didn't write down the wheel p/n's - but they did start with "996".

Perhaps ditch the snow tires and use them for the track!

Anyhow, if anyone thinks they want them, let me know and I'll see if we can work out a deal.

the rears are not widebody...widebody has 11's. Anyhow, if they have snows, 10's would make sense. I run 10's with spacers in the winter. How much is looking to get?

Hi Jon, the rears are the wide body offset - the sport designs on the rear of my C4 are 10Jx18 ET65.

These wheels, with the 47mm offset, will stick out another 18mm (0.71") on each side.

He says he'd like to get $1,200 - he has a recipt from when they were purchased (with the tires) for $4k. His story is a friend of his had them, then got rid of the C4S, then moved and gave him the wheels.

Realistically, with cash in hand, I wouldn't offer more than a grand - and would be more inclined to start by offering $700 or so.

The snow tires are Pirellis and have about 60% tread left.

996 Turbo twist - but they're not hollow spokes.

For reference, Last year I bought a set of lightly beat (scraped nt bent) 17" twists from a rennlister for $400 and then spent $700 on brand new Blizzak snows. Used them for four moths, and then sold my Porsche.

I'd sell them for $1000, but any less and I'll just keep them until I get another 996.
