Last outing for the GT3. I should have a check on Wednesday so after that she won't be on the streets again with me behind the wheel. End of an era

Hey, Rich. Sorry for the delayed response - I was away for a meeting. So, I'm very envious that you were able to cruise in Alaska. My in-laws are taking a cruise there in a couple weeks.
We decided to meet at the Panera in Cary on Cary Parkway. There is a Ginza and Stonewood in the same shopping center. Inside-Out Running store is also in that shopping center. I'll be there around 7:30.
The parking lot is huge, and it's easy to find. See you there!

Sorry I missed everybody this AM, was replacing front bearings. Hoped to have them in by Friday night, but it didn't work out. No front wheel makes the drive slow and loud.....

Thanks, Larry. It was great to meet you and your sons today. You're welcome anytime!
For those of you who were unable to attend, I'm sorry for any ambiguity regarding the location today - especially Martin. We continue to search for the best replacement for our beloved Bean & Bagel. Panera was good today, but we're hoping for a locally owned-operated location. More to come.
We had a great group today :
Rich and Phil - Red GT3
Ahmet - M3
Dell - Yellow GT3 (the last time before shipping out)
Charles - 996
Rich and Ricky - Blue Boxster
John - Red Boxster
Larry and sons - 997 back home in NJ
Bob - Black Mk 1 Aero 996
Not pictured below are John's Boxster. Ahmet's M3, and Rich and Phil's GT2
We also had a sighting of Matt's new GT2, but he didn't stop in for some reason. May have been running errands.
Again, I'll post an update for next weeks location later this week - the search continues.

Nice to see all of you again and meet some new folks.
I'm simply in love w/Charles' blue 996. Gorgeous color combo/ride height, wheels, etc.
Small correction btw, that's Rich and Rex w/the red GT3.

Thanks for the compliment on the 996
Ahmet...thanks for the compliment on my 996...I ordered it from the factory to get the color combination, equipment I wanted...plus I've been very selective with my mods.....my next goal is to knock off about 100 lbs and maybe add a supercharger....it's a keeper......it's my street rod only.... we'll get together and take it for a spin......

I would probably go with the VF Supercharger(was EVOM)....I've been thinking about this for some time reading everything I could find and the VF seems
a better choice....They have installed several times more than TPC and that tells you something....maybe at the next Saturday morning coffe meet we can take up a collection...all we need is about $12,000......

All,
We may want to the consider the "Wake Zone" coffee shop:
6108 Old Jenks Road
Apex, NC 27523
Corner of Davis Drive & Old Jenks Rd
Good coffee
Good parking ( at least at 7:30 on a Saturday!)
Gas station next door
Locally owned
