FS 996 Wheels & Tires

4 Attachment(s)
Selling the original Turbo Twist Wheels that came with my 2001 996. I had them Powder Coated Black four months ago. Included are four metal black Porsche center caps and Bridgestone Potenza street tires with plenty of tread remaining. My car is tracked mostly and I have no need for these wheels. Great Deal at $1,000 plus buyer pays shipping. I am located in Virginia Beach. Thanks for your interest.

I will get those tonight and post tomorrow. I know the offsets will be those found on the standard Carrera 996 2001. Also, I have 7mm Spacers with bolts for all four wheels I no longer will need. I had to buy the spacers several months ago for the front wheels to fit over the upgraded Brembo GT brakes I now have on this car. My GT# wheels fit fine as the front offsets are further out.

Here you go:

Front Bridgestone Potenze S-02A 225/40/18
Wheel Part # 993-362-134-06
Size/Offset 7.5J X 18 ET50

Rear Bridgestone Potenza S-02A 285/30/18
Wheel Part # 993-362-140-04

As I said, these are stock wheels that were delivered with the car when new. Thank you.

I just happened to log on. No I don't have apicture with these wheels but my avatar shows nmy GT3 track wheels which are also black. I also have 7MM spacers with longer bolts which makes the wheels look better.

Are you including the spacers with the wheels?

Eharrison 03-31-2008 12:28 AM

I was interested in your comment, "My car is tracked mostly and I have no need for these wheels."

Out of curiosity, are these wheels not desired on the track? Or do you have no need for street tires since you never drive the car on the street...

Offhand do you know the weight of your 18" stock wheels?

Your avatar cracks me up! Mt GT3 wheels are 8.5 X 18 ET40 Front and 11 X 18 ET63 Rear and they can handle 245 tires front and 295-305 rear. I had another set of CCW wheels made with this identical offset. I am sure these Turbo Twist wheels will work fine on the track depending on your set up. I have Moton 3 Ways, -3.5 cmaber front and rear, and Brembo GT brakes so my wheels that are for sale will not fit up front without a 7MM spacer. The GT3 and CCW wheels are offset further out and do not require a spacer.

I am going to get another set of CCWs and use the GT3 wheels for limited street use on street tires.

The tires I currently have on the Turbo Twist wheels are as large as you want ot go based on the wheel width

No I do not but I am thinking 22-25 lbs with the tire per wheel. They are not known for being light hence street use is the best fit for these wheels IMHO.

Spacers Included

Why not. I will not be using them again. I have four 7MM spacers and twenty longer wheels bolts to go with them. With these included, I think this is a very good deal IMHO!

Try this one. These are the GT3 Wheels with the center caps that are for sale. You cannot tell since the car is moving, so this will give an idea of black with red edge. I like it!
