So what is the best way to replace my stock steering wheel crest to silver?

Best way is to find a local swap since, technically, they are hazardous material and difficult to ship. I would swap mine, but I am in SF/Bay Area. They were stock in MY 2000 (millineum edition). For due diligence, you should make sure that the air bag has been recently tested, I suppose.

Any interested in doing with someone local. I just picked up the alu steering wheel to replace the hair line cracked CF one. I plan on doing a lot of the interior in alu look and the gold crest is kinda a clash.
I would have sent you a pm but there was no option too.
