Yes, I was thinking maybe it was just the bad turns he was showing. Turn 1 and turn 4 were kicking his a**! But then again, turn 1 can be interesting. 4 he consistantly early apexed.
I've been out in those fields before. they're not as smooth as they seem before you go out in them. Darn sure smoother that the tire walls, though

Phew. I was begining to wonder was this how all Porsche DE's were. He kept letting off the throttle in the turns.
Were they handing out free beer that day? I don't see that many screw ups in a whole season.
The guy driving the 993 needs to learn how to feed in throttle at the apex (watch the graphic when it's there). You'd think after encountering oversteer that many times, he'd have figured it out.

Are those guys trying to wreck those cars?!?!?! While drifting the car (sometimes successfully) through the turns might impress the high school kids, it shows me terrible driving skills sprinkled with moments of nice car control. If I saw those guys in front of me on track, I'd pit and wait for them to get half a lap away from me. If I saw that many incidents in one session, I'd go home.
Hopefully this wasn't a Porsche sponsored event.

that was a Chin Motorsports event. the CGT spent more time in the grass than on the track.
the boys with band-aid racing or whatever these jersey miscreants call themselves are apparently irresponsible and careless. i had one of them snap spin in front of me in turn 1. i opted for the off. i wonder what Mark would think of this obvious showboating were he to see this video. f'ing morons, they could have hurt somebody.

Not sure why anyone would applaud this behavior. Clearly the drivers knew what they were doing to save the cars (sometimes) and were working to unsettle them to show off. In the meantime they endangered everyone else at the event. As a right seater this stuff cannot be tolerated. People get hurt doing this crap. And we wonder why insurance companies are excluding coverage for Driver Education events...
If they were not intentionally doing it then they just were pretty bad drivers and should have been reigned in a little more by the instructor. From experience, this can be hard but is sometimes required so that people and/or property are not hurt.

Somebody forgot to bring the black flags..........when they find them they should sew them together and give a few blanket parties starting with the instructors. I thought you were supposed to learn from your mistakes, not repeat them on every lap?
