Will 993 wheels fit '02 996?
I have an opportunity to buy a set of 993 Turbo Twist wheels in the same size as my current 18" wheels, then I can have separate road and track wheels. It looks like there is no huge difference in offset, but I'd like some input. The wheels in question have part number 993.362.140.00
Thanks in advance.

Below are the part numbers of the optional 18'' turbo twist wheels that came on the MK1 996. They are 993 wheels. The solid spoke wheels are very heavy and it seems that you may get the solid spoke wheels (not the hollow spoke). I'd not recommend them for the track. I just replaced these whels with 5-spoke wheels and reduced >30lbp (incl. lighter tires). This is a difference you recognize, even on the street!
Solid Spoke Turbolook wheels 18'':
7.5x18" ET 50 (x2) - ET52 - 25.57 lb (front 993.362.136.01)
10x18" ET 65 (x2) - ET65 - 29.32 lb (narrow body rear 993.362.140.04)
