Ballpark price for seat reupholster
My 99 C4 front seats are in need of being recovered . Generally speaking how much do shops charge to redo the front seats ? They are vinyl grey 8 way power seats . How much of an upcharge for leather vs vinyl ?
There is a custom interior shop about 45 minutes from me . I will bring my car there for a quote but I would like to know up front what others have paid . Thanks

Hmmmm… “custom interior shop” + Porsche 911 = BIG $$$. Post some photos, there’s a good chance you can repair & refinish them…

Here's an old thread that has some recommendations.

When I had my top replaced the guy said something like 2-3k for redoing the seats. Mine definitely needs it, it's been on the list for a while, I think otherwise my interior is in decent enough shape for its age.

Thanks for the links above , some good info there . I will go to the custom shop and get a quote knowing it may be 2k or more . I may also go to our local car club which are mostly hot rods and muscle cars to see if there is a local guy that is recommended .
I have received a sample swatch from Lseat so I see the colors they offer. I am pretty sure my current seats could be saved/repaired but they are too plain for my taste. Not looking for anything too radical just want to break up the sea of grey 😁 .

I was quoted $3500. You can sometimes find used or new seats on EBay for $1200-2000. I ended up doing my own repair and am pleased with the results. Found perfect kit to repair which included exact Porsche color match dye at
