Default Remove CD holder, install CUBBY. HELP!

Ok, got a cubby, need to install it. Here's the problem:

Air-conditioner is on the bottom (with trim piece, diff size than above) CD-Holder is right above it. Cubby ONLY seems to fit in the bottom. So, I have to move up the AC-unit. Problem is, AC-Unit is too small for the upper shelf. It needs a trim piece to cover openings.

No problem, right? So called parts guy at the Porsche-dealer. He said that piece doesn't exist. WT hELL? HELP!!

I have seen a storage shelf for the middle. Look over at macarbon for some photos. If John is getting the parts for the shelf, then you should be able to as well.

Yes, there are two different cubbies (shelves). One for top and one for bottom. You need the top version...

The idiot at Parktown imports WILL NOT guarantee he can get me a shelf to replace my cd -holder. He says if he orders it and it doesn't fit, I'm stuck with it.

The storage bin to replace your cd holder is 996 552 253 01 01C.

The storage bin for where the a/c control unit is in your picture is 996 552 243 01 01C.

You can't put the AC in the upper shelf of the bottom center console...

That is unless you do a custom fabrication(which I have done)

You can only leave the AC in the bottom and get the upper cubby...

Yes you may. My 1st cubby was the wrong size. I gave the guy 8 for shipping, plus an extra $10 for his trouble. That's all I ask and it's yours!!
