I wish they were all track miles... I put about 8 Time Attack Days on her from 2013-2015 including Laguna Seca where I held the POC class track record until 2016.

She's been my daily driver the last 2 years and I haven't been tracking her now that I run in BSR.

Roger that, thanks. I saw your post where you said the car would be your track car, and you only posted track day pics and footage. 40,000 track miles would really be something! Cheers on keeping the car on the road. I'm glad she's been good to you.

Thanks Mate,

I'm happy with sequence of events that occurred so I could be the owner and that it's been one amazing 911.

Wow just read through this thread for the first time. Looks like the OP missed out on a great car!

Just goes to show that you can't control everything. You can get a perfectly clean car with great history and it can blow up the next week. Or get a car with history of water damage and runs perfect. It's a fickle bitch!

I wonder if "arrogant" knows how this all ended up?

This makes me wish my car was a flood car. They are definitely more reliable.

The problem here wasn't that the car was a flood car. The problem was that Global misrepresented the car when they sold it to Gant. They sold it as a pristine car (remember, it was only a couple of years old when this happened and was not an inexpensive car at the time), without disclosing the flood history and they sold it at a price that did not reflect the fact that it had taken a swim and needed major work to make it salable again. Gant did what I and many others would have done and sought to have the situation and misrepresentation corrected. If it had been sold it as a flooded car with appropriate pricing, then there would not have been an issue, but that was not the case with this car.

My worry when Gant finally got them to take the car back was that they were just going to do the same over again. I would be curious to know if each and everyone of the owners that bought it after Gant was told that it was flooded. My guess is that subsequent owners still did not disclose the history of the car. I know I would have not been happy to be an owner of this car if the history were not disclosed to me.

U-Boat Timeline Update:

Still running strong and the normal maintenance wear and tear items replaced.
Diff bearings and seals were replaced at 108,000 due to a small leak.

She is sitting at 114,400 miles now.

The question now is.. do I sell or do I starting building a dedicated track car?
